What place does beauty have in a season in which we are feeling the weight of so much in our world?

What is it that we all long for? Is it not Peace?

I believe beauty is a gift that brings peace from The Maker and Creator of all things.

Peace that has the ability to light glimmering flames of hope in the dark.

In darkness and heaviness, perhaps beauty is not less important, but even more necessary for giving our souls reminders of goodness and hope to hold onto.

Shiloh, meaning "peace."

This theme is what has nourished my works in the painting of this collection.

These paintings, I hope are a glimmer of light, paintings that add beauty to your every day as reminders to pause, to see beauty, and receive peace.
